The Wall
I've just finished work on my map mural.  It took longer, and
was more work, than I had anticipated.  But it was fun, and I
enjoyed seeing the progress as it took shape and form.  I
also enjoyed getting more skilled at painting mountains as I
went along!  You can see the work, and the results, by

Volleyball Season
This past season went well.  We finished 11-15, and 10-8 in conference.  We missed going to
playoffs by one match.  All of the girls played well throughout the year, and we had an outstanding
group of freshmen.  If we can hold onto them we will be difficult to deal with for several years to
come.  You can read more about the season, and  my players, on Schreiner's website.  (11/1/06)
Volleyball Community Service
My team took an off weekend this season and spent an afternoon cleaning up and painting the
playground at the Doyle School Community Center in Kerrville.  The girls were enthusiastic for the
opportunity; I was proud of them and of the hard work that they put in.  (10/15/06)

MS 150:  Utah Style
I am going to be riding in the MS 150 in Utah this June.  My parents rode in it last year with their
church bicycling group, and invited both Vanessa and myself to pedal along this year.  Vanessa
won't be able to, as she'll be home getting ready to head off to Costa Rica, but I'll be there.  I'm
trying to do the training now, but it has been raining so much that its hard to manage on a
consistent basis.  Yeah...thats the excuse...er...reason!
Anyway, we have a page for the MS 150, which will have pictures,
blather, etc. when I have finished.  But it also has a link to the fund
raising site...I need to raise $200 in order to ride.  If you are interested
in helping out, head over to the MS 150 site on our page (the link to
the right), and follow the link to the MS page.  Thanks for your
support...I'll look forward to sharing the experience with you when I get
back!  (5/28/07)
